José Rojo Edwards:
Fin al actual sistema de transporte y nueva policía
«Necesitamos recuperar el control de nuestra seguridad», dice el abanderado del Partido Republicano, José Manuel Rojo Edwards.
El exdiputado propone así la formación de una policía metropolitana, la ‘Santiago P.D.’. «Así como el gobernador de La Araucanía debe poder ser parte en el combate contra el terrorismo, en la RM es un deber ser parte en el combate contra el narcotráfico, el crimen organizado y la delincuencia», explica.
A su vez, plantea recuperar el control del empleo y la estabilidad laboral. «Para lo anterior, el gobierno regional debe tener herramientas para garantizar el Estado de derecho para que las pymes puedan desarrollarse y generar empleos», dice.
Por otro lado, buscará crear una autoridad metropolitana que elimine la Red Metropolitana de Movilidad (ex Transantiago), apoye la extensión del Metro, integre la vivienda social y conecte Santiago por ciclovías y áreas verdes.
